Derek is an experienced property consultant, valuer, and Crown Property Agent. He has a proven record in the commercial sector, local government and large consultancies. He is a solid and steady operator.

Derek has previously worked in valuation firms (JLL, BPL Group), a bank (Westpac), the Wanganui District Council, Opus International, and WSP (New Zealand). His experience provides a solid foundation for his property consultancy role, where he continues to act as a Crown Property Agent.

Derek holds a Bachelor of Business Studies, Valuation and Property Management from Massey University. He is a registered valuer and is accredited to perform Acquisition of Land under the Public Works Public 1981 and the Assessment of Compensation under the Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993 as Crown Property Agent.
